About Me

Yo chat, I am Ritabrata Das, a random ahh programmer from India. I go by the handle @theindiandev on various platforms. This blog is my space to share knowledge, tutorials, and insights about programming, technology, and my personal projects.

Some shii about me

Technology : I like open source software… Have been obbessed with Linux since I was 9 or 10 years old. My distro was Kali Linux… I wanted to be a hacker back then, but then I found my love for programming. I use Arch™️ © Linux btw as my daily driver, I will never understand why people hate linux, I use HP Pavillion and everything works so well out of the box… I am also a GNOME supermacist btw…

Gaming : I do like playing games, although I don’t play a varierty of games or have time for playing the ones I like either. But when I play most of the time I play Touhou Project(Bullet hell only) or Geomtry Dash, sometimes you would find me on YSFLight or Minecraft. I play a few other games like osu!, Euro Truck Simulator 2, and some random games on Steam, but rarely.

Programming : ts is probably what I spend most of my time on. I have been programming since I was like err… 10 years old? I started with QBasic, then moved to Python during the quarrentine… I am still a python supermacist but… I am trying to learn languages like C and Rust. I also do some web dev, but I am not a web dev, I just do it for fun. (Ever since AI came around, I let claude do the web dev for me, I just give it the instructions and it does the rest. I am lazy like that 😎)

Music Taste : Kendric Lamar, ZUN(Touhou Music), F-777, Waterflame, Kordhell… tbh I don’t know what I like, I just listen to whatever my ear feel good 👍

TV Shows and movies : I absolutely have no idea about any movie at all… The only movie I have watched in my entire life is Ice Age 3, and no I don’t watch anime(not xenophobic but… Japanese language cringes me :/)
