i am Ritabrata Das, an epic ™️ programmer. I go by the handle @theindiandev on most places… You would probably know me by SamosaGaming69, Badak Kumar or IndianPlayer52 too… This is my corner of the web where i post my random shenanigans and stuff. i speak 4 languages, bengali (mother toungue), hindi, english and odia… (im bad at all 4 of them)

1. C++ : Cross compilation is hell… I really do not like it all
2. Docker : idk man, having a 30gb image to run my python script doesnt sound nice
3. Electron : just… why… Why would you do that…
4. Javascript : Nice as long as its on the web… Stop using it as native cli tools and stuff
5. Apple Computers : Can’t compile shii for them without buying their machine… really annoying.
6. crypto and web3 : i still haven’t figured out wheres the future in it…

Some shii about me

Technology : I like open source software… Have been obbessed with Linux since I was 9 or 10 years old. My distro was Kali Linux… I wanted to be a hacker back then, but then I found my love for programming. I use Arch™️ © Linux btw as my daily driver, I will never understand why people hate linux, I use HP Pavillion and everything works so well out of the box… I am also a GNOME supermacist btw…

Gaming : I do like playing games, although I don’t play a varierty of games or have time for playing the ones I like either. But when I play most of the time I play Touhou Project(Bullet hell only) or Geomtry Dash, sometimes you would find me on YSFLight or Minecraft. I play a few other games like osu!, Euro Truck Simulator 2, and some random games on Steam, but rarely.

Programming : ts is probably what I spend most of my time on. I have been programming since I was like err… 10 years old? I started with QBasic, then moved to Python during the quarrentine… I am still a python supermacist but… I am trying to learn languages like C and Rust. I also do some web dev, but I am not a web dev, I just do it for fun. (Ever since AI came around, I let claude do the web dev for me, I just give it the instructions and it does the rest.)

Music Taste : heh, idk man, haryanvi, bhojpuri, vocaloids from japan, ZUN, east coast and west coast rap, geomtry dash legends like waterflame, f-777 and boom kitty… i feel like i am an statistical anamoly to yt music’s recommendation engine…
